"A recent news release may point to a time in the near future when we will be forced into a complete renovation of our current conception of time and space. It seems that the speed of light may not be an unsurpassable constant after all. Scientists now claim to have accelerated light up to 300 times its normal velocity of 186,000 miles per second. [I think that is about 670 million miles per hour.] This is just another indicator of which the time we live. To say that knowledge is increasing exponentially is to make a great understatement. Scientific breakthroughs are coming at a rate that makes planning a prediction a practical impossibility. Technical planners now say that they can't accurately forecast innovations beyond a year or two. Once it was common to rely upon a 10 to 15-year forecast. Now new breakthroughs are coming with such intensity that no one can tell what the next one will bring.""As reported in the London Sunday Times of June 4th the publication of a particular scientific breakthrough may well change the world as we know it. Science editor Jonathan Leake writes, ‘In research carried out in the United States, particle physicists have shown that light pulses can be accelerated up to 300 times their normal velocity of 186,000 miles per second. The implications, like the speed, are mind-boggling.' "
They sure are and it could explain how angelic beings travel from wherever the throne of God is to other places, certainly much faster than man ever imagined. But that is just one of the possibilities. Listen to this:
"‘On one interpretation it means that light will arrive at its destination almost before it has started its journey.' "
