Have to versus want to. Oh, what a difference in those two statements! "I have to go..." wreaks of OBLIGATION. No fun, drudgery and negative feelings. Whereas "I can't believe I get to go..." exudes excitement, OPPORTUNITY, and looking forward to. Of course the first one will muscle test weak and the latter choice will test strong. The emotional opinion is up to YOU! There is actually nothing you have to do. It is all a choice. I want people to want to come see me versus having to come in. I know nobody likes to go to a doctor and pay the money; however, when you know you will leave feeling better, more inspired, stronger, and confident that we have found and corrected the true cause of your complaint, I hope you look forward to me "picking on you" and uncovering some interesting feelings.
I love answering your good questions, I love when you share stories, quotes and books with me so I can, in turn, pass them along to many others.
I do not force my practice members to make follow-up appointments, yet most of them do. I try hard to respect your time and educate each of you about the benefits of maintenance and prevention treatments. It does pay off to keep feeling good! your health is your choice and I thank you for trusting me with your family's health. I do not hold anything back. When I learn something new that can help more people, I try it out on each of you ASAP. It keeps each visit exciting and fresh. Many of you have been clients of mine for five to fifteen years and I appreciate you.
Please let me know when you have read this so I can custom tailor future messages accordingly. Peace in Action, Dr K

When I "have to", then I feel like the victim controlled by someone else. When I "want to", then I'm in control of my destiny.

There's a great book, "Your Body Believes Every Word You Say", that focuses on the effects of our words, in our thoughts, or spoken out loud. Either way, those words have an impact on us, positively or negatively. When we speak them, they not only impact us, but they impact others.
